PURPOSE: A marker for diagnosing squamous cell carcinoma, comprising HO-1(heme oxygenase-1) gene or protein is provided to early diagnose and to determine malignant cancer.;CONSTITUTION: A marker for diagnosing squamous cell carcinoma contains HO-1(heme oxygenase-1) gene or protein. A microarray for diagnosing squamous cell carcinoma contains HO-1 gene or HO-1 protein. A composition for diagnosing squamous cell carcinoma contains a material for measuring HO-1 level. The composition contains a sense and antisense primers of HO-1 gene. The composition contains a complementary probe of HO-1 gene. The composition contains an antibody which recognizes HO-1 protein. A method for diagnosing squamous cell carcinoma comprises: a step of measuring expression level of HO-1 gene from squamous cell carcinoma-suspicious cells; and a step of comparing the expression level with the level of normal cells.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
