PURPOSE: An apparatus for contact-free input interfacing and a contact-free input interfacing method using the same are provided to perform accurate contract-free user input by measuring hand and finger motion. CONSTITUTION: A first sensor(210) measures hand motion, and a second sensor(220) measures finger motion. A hand gesture detector(230) detects a hand gesture set up based on the hand motion, and a finger gesture detector(240) detects a finger gesture set up from the finger motion. An input signal generating unit(250) generates an input signal based on hand and finger gesture.
