PURPOSE: A multi-plasma display device is provided to reduce abnormal discharge and overheat of circuits by applying the same number of sustain signals to two or more of plasma display panels.;CONSTITUTION: Plasma display panels(210,220,230,240) are located in contact with each other and display an image by dividing the image using a plurality of subfields including a reset period, an address period, and a sustain period. Driving units drive the plasma display panels to display corresponding divided images and measure the temperatures of the plasma display panels. A control unit(400) controls the driving units so that the same number of sustain signals are applied to two or more of the plasma display panels during one or more sustain periods when at least one of the measured panel temperatures is over the set value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
