PURPOSE: An eddy current probe for detecting surface defects of a metal pipe is provided to enable the detection of defects on the inner surface of a metal pipe since one between two coils is linear along the inclined direction.;CONSTITUTION: An eddy current probe for detecting surface defects of a metal pipe comprises a coil support(11) and coils(41,42). The coil support is inserted inside the metal pipe(10) to an axial direction. A pair of winging grooves is formed on the outer surface of the coil support. A central shaft(13) is formed at the rear end of the coil support. The coil is inclined and wound in the coil support.
