NANOPHOSPHOR WITH IMPROVED LUMINESCENT BRIGHTNESS, A LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE INCLUDING NANOPHOSPHOR AND A METHOD FOR PREPARING NANOPHOSPHOR

PURPOSE: A nanophosphor is provided to enable simple production and mass production, and to ensure high crystallinity and luminescent brightness.;CONSTITUTION: A nanophosphor comprises ZnS and has average particle diameter of 10-500 nm. In X-ray diffraction spectrum, the nanophosphor exhibits ZnS cubic {111} peak and a full width at half maximum of the ZnS cubic {111} peak is 0.280 or less. A method for manufacturing the nanophosphor comprises the steps of: pulverizing a bulk nanophosphor having an average particle diameter more than 1 micron; mixing the pulverized nanophosphor with chlorine-based inorganic salts; and heat-treating the mixture.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
