PURPOSE: A toxin removal method from waste polychlorinated biphenyl is provided to economically process the polychlorinated biphenyl without generating the environmental contamination. CONSTITUTION: A toxin removal method from waste polychlorinated biphenyl comprises a step of accelerating the hydrogenation of chlorine using a compound selected from the group consisting of CaCo3, NaCo3, and B2-20H2-18. The compound is capable of accelerating the hydrogenation of electron donors using iron for the waste polychlorinated biphenyl.
