PURPOSE: Vanadium pentoxide sol containing tungsten trioxide and a method for preparing the same are provided to reduce a transition temperature in a coating film forming process by optimizing the pH of sol.;CONSTITUTION: Vanadium pentoxide powder is mixed with tungsten oxide powder. The mixed powder is arranged in a crucible, and the crucible is introduced into a furnace. The temperature of the furnace is raised to 700 to 1000 degrees Celsius. The temperature of the furnace is maintained at temperature higher than the melting point of vanadium pentoxide. The vanadium pentoxide powder is melted. The crucible is rapidly cooled using deionized water. Acid is added to vanadium pentoxide sol containing tungsten trioxide to adjust the pH of the sol. The sol is filtered.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
