PURPOSE: A lead rubber bearing with improved seismic isolation capability is provided to minimize the deformation of lead rods and prevent aging because the upper and lower flanges of a rubber bearing surround end plates. CONSTITUTION: A lead rubber bearing with improved seismic isolation capability comprises upper and lower plates(10,20), upper and lower end plates(100,100a), a rubber bearing(400), spacers(200,200a), and a plurality of reinforcing plates(500). The upper and lower plates are located to correspond to each other between the upper structure and a post of a bridge. The upper and lower end plates respectively contact the upper and lower plates between the upper and lower plates and have a coupling groove(140) and a holding protrusion(160). The rubber bearing, in which a lead rod(300) is coupled in the center, is installed between the upper and lower end plates. The spacers are installed in the upper and lower end plates to support the top and bottom of the lead rod. The reinforcing plates are installed to support the lead rod inside the rubber bearing.
