PURPOSE: Pork bone and potato soup using yam, and a producing method thereof are provided to salt and age the yam before roasting with a heated frying pan. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of pork bone and potato soup using yam comprises the following steps: peeling skins from the yam, and cutting; dipping the cut yam in bay salt water, and removing the moisture; roasting the surface of the yam for 2~5minutes using a frying pan; removing blood from pork bones, and boiling before mixing with seasonings; pouring water to the pork bone mixture, and heating at 115~135deg C; secondly heating the pork bone mixture, and adding finishing spices before boiling for 5~10minutes; and adding the roasted yam into the mixture before heating the mixture for 3~5minutes.
