PURPOSE: Red pepper paste containing ammodytes personatus sauce, and a producing method thereof are provided to use the ammodytes personatus sauce instead of massive amount of salt. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of red pepper paste containing ammodytes personatus sauce comprises the following steps: mixing 8~10wt% of salt water with the concentration of 5~10%, 10~20wt% of fermented soybean powder, 5~10wt% of barley powder, 5~10wt% of ammodytes personatus sauce, and 3~5wt% of diluted ethanol; adding 10wt% of red pepper powder, and 30~59wt% of grain syrup to the mixture; aging the mixture for 2~5months at -1~20deg C; and adding 1~5wt% of acetic acid to the obtained red pepper paste.
