PURPOSE: A certification number process method and a portable terminal performing the method are provided to automatically input an authentication number of a payment page on an authentication message screen including the authentication number.;CONSTITUTION: A receiving module(210) receives an authentication message including an authentication number from a communication provider. An input module(220) automatically inputs the authentication number included in the received authentication message to a small amount payment page.
