A METHOD FOR PARALLELIZING IRREGULAR REDUCTION ON EXPLICITLY MANAGED MEMORY HIERARCHY

PURPOSE: A paralleling method of non-uniform reduction in a parallel processing device is provided to minimize a time consumption to a calculation of non-uniform reduction and rapidly draw a calculation result by allocating unit works of distribution execution to a plurality of devices. CONSTITUTION: Blocks having a constant size is partitioned by the size of on-chip memory of a explicitly managed memory hierarchy(S10). Unit works of distribution execution is generated by collecting data blocks accessing a repetitive period of repetitive sentence with the same things(S20). The unit works are allocated to a plurality of devices based on an event(S30).
