PURPOSE: A telescopic device and a length adjusting device of a steering wheel for a vehicle using the same are provided to remarkably reduce manufacturing costs by simplifying the operation structure of the device. ;CONSTITUTION: A telescopic device comprises a first wedge member, a first lever member, a second wedge member, a second lever member, and an elastic member. The bottom of the first wedge member is in contact with the outer surface of an inner column(3), and the first wedge member is accepted in an outer column(2). The first lever member is extended from the inclined surface of the first wedge member to the outside the outer column. The inclined surface of the second wedge member is arranged in the opposite direction to the inclined surface of the first wedge member. The second leer member is extended from the inclined surface of the second wedge member to the outside the outer column.
