PURPOSE: A hybrid system for vehicles and a control method thereof are provided to possessively support output torque of the engine and to offer stable ISG function and power generating function. ;CONSTITUTION: A hybrid system for vehicles includes the following: an electric motor(11,21) offering starter/generator function; a super capacitor(12,22) performing charge and discharge function; and a DC/DC converter(13,23) removing floating voltage in charge and discharge operation of the super capacitor; A power line in which the units are included is independently composed. The electric motor composed in each power line is independently connected to a crank pulley. A DC / DC converter output shift of the power line is connected to a battery(40). The hybrid system for the vehicle is further includes a control part(30) controlling the electric motor with starter function, generator function, and motor function by independently controlling each power line according to driving conditions.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
