PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a fuel cell composite membrane is provided to obtain a sulfonated PEEK(Poly Ether Ether Ketone)/H^+ ionophore composite film for a fuel cell with high thermal stability and low methanol permeability. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a fuel cell composite membrane comprises the steps of: sulfonating PEEK(Poly Ether Ether Ketone) to form sPEEK(sulfonated PEEK); and adding H^+ ionophores to the sPEEK to form a membrane for the fuel cell. The H^+ ionophores are TDDA(tridodecylamine). In the step forming the membrane for the fuel cell, sPEEK solution and ionophore solution are prepared, wherein the sPEEK solution is such that the sPEEK is dissolved in a solvent for manufacturing a membrane and the ionophore solution is such that the H^+ ionophores aer dissolved in a mixed solvent. The solvent for manufacturing the membrane is dimethylacetamide and the mixed solvent is tetrahydrofuran.
