PURPOSE: A system for preventing collision of vessel and a method thereof is provided to prevent the collision between vessels by using a radio communication function and a position tracking function. ;CONSTITUTION: In a system for preventing collision of vessel and a method thereof, a marine information providing unit(110) generates the information of a plurality of ships and fixed obstacles. A central server receives marine information and organizes it. The center server generates the environment information of the vessel. . A mobile terminal(130) accesses the central server and transmits the position information of the vessel.
