PURPOSE: A metal composite material hybrid structure is provided to maintain or improve strength of the hybrid structure and to maximize damping function. ;CONSTITUTION: A metal composite hybrid structure forming a small machine structure comprises: a metal material(34) of hollow tubular shape; a composite material(31) which contains a carbon fiber(311) and is attached on the inner circumference of the metal material; and a friction layer laminated between the metal material and composite material.
