PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing image information are provided to give image information for a user by providing image information of each direction for a vehicle within an intersection. ;CONSTITUTION: An image processing unit(120) converts at least one image transmitted from a plurality of photographing devices to frames. The image processing unit inserts the coordinates of the intersection corresponding to the frames. The entry determination unit determines whether the vehicle enters into the intersection on the basis of the present direction of the vehicle and the present location coordinates of the vehicle. An extraction unit(140) extracts the image information of the crossing roads from the frames corresponding to at least one image.
