PURPOSE: A method of unloading and transporting a container is provided to reduce processing time of containers in a yard since the containers are transported to a yard area since the containers are unloaded from a ship to different container transporting devices by destination. ;CONSTITUTION: A method of unloading and transporting a container is as follows. If a ship(120) holding a plurality of containers enters a harbor, information of a container to be unloaded is received from the control server of the harbor(150). The number of container transporting devices(140) to be arranged in an open-air storage yard(110) is determined based on the container information and is transferred to the control server of the harbor. A determined number of container transporting devices reach the open-air storage yard according to the control of the control server of the harbor and the containers of the ship are loaded on the container transporting device by container information by operating a container crane(100).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
