METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ELECTROWETTING DISPLAY FOR IMPROVING A PRODUCTION YIELD BY FILLING PROPER AMOUNT OF HYDROPHILIC LIQUID

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an electrowetting display is provided to prevent the burst of a sealing layer by filling proper amount of hydrophilic liquid between a first substrate and a second substrate. ;CONSTITUTION: A first substrate(100) and a second substrate(200) are defined as a pixel area in which a pixel array is formed and a non-pixel area of the outer area of the pixel area. A sealing layer is formed on a first substrate in an open curve type covering the pixel area in the non-pixel area. The first substrate and the second substrate are arranged in order to facing each other in a water tank in which hydrophilic liquid is filled. The arranged first substrate and the second substrate are bonded by the sealing layer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
