PURPOSE: A pontoon assembly for wave control and a pontoon-type wave control system are provided to reduce waves by sinking the pontoon assembly at ordinary times and floating the pontoon assembly when necessary. CONSTITUTION: A pontoon assembly for wave control comprises a pontoon(300), an air injection valve(320), an air exhaust valve(330), and a seawater port(340). The pontoon is movably installed in a mounting surface and has an inner space for air or seawater. The air injection valve injects air to the inner space. The air exhaust valve exhausts the injected air to the outside. The seawater port flows in/out seawater depending on pressure occurred due to the injected or exhausted air.
