PURPOSE: An electrospray ionization apparatus and an electrospray ionization method using the same are provided to minimizing the diffusion of ions occurred through an electrospray ionization process. ;CONSTITUTION: An electrospray ionization apparatus comprises a platform(10), a nebulizer(20), and a focusing lens(30). The platform comprises an inlet(110), first and second channels, and an outlet(123). The first channel is connected to the inlet. The second channel is connected to the first channel. The outlet is connected to the second channel. The nebulizer is located at the inside the first channel and nebulizes inert gas to samples sprayed on the first channel. The condensing lens is located at the inside the second channel and focus ions generated from the sprayed samples toward the outlet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
