PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a serum certified reference material for measuring blood glucose is provided to prevent microbial contamination and to ensure stability and homogeneity.;CONSTITUTION: A serum certified reference material for measuring blood glucose contains antibiotics in blood serum. The antibiotics are 50 ug/mL of gentamicin sulfate. A method for manufacturing the serum certified reference material comprises: a step of removing solid ingredients by filtering serum using a microcloth filter; a step of filtering the serum using 0.1-0.8 um of sterilized filter; a step of centrifuging at 4-30°C and 5000-15000 rpm for 10-50 minutes; and a step of storing at -75°C.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
