PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus, a printing charging system, and a printing charging method are provided to reduce traffic load between an administration server and the image forming apparatus. ;CONSTITUTION: A controller(270) decides the performance of a job according to whether a work paper number requested in a job performance command satisfies use quota information. A functional unit(260) performs the job according to the control of the controller. According to the performance of the job, a quota information management unit(240) updates the user quota information stored in a storage unit(230).
