ASYMMETRY DISK CLAMP AND SPINDLE MOTOR ASSEMBLY WITH THE SAME CAPABLE OF FIXING A DISK TO A SPINDLE MOTOR

PURPOSE: An asymmetry disk clamp and spindle motor assembly with the same are provided to correct a mass disproportion caused with an eccentricity assembly of a disk about a spindle motor without adding a separate component element of for correction by having asymmetrical form. ;CONSTITUTION: A hollow(162) is formed in a central unit of a disk clamp(160). A connecting unit(164) is formed in a hollow outer perimeter and a screw inserting hole(165) is included. A fastening clamp screw which is coupled in a spindle motor is inserted into screw inserting holes. A presser unit(168) is formed in an outer perimeter of a connecting unit and a disk is pressured. A connecting unit includes a first and a second area which is formed asymmetrically. The screw inserting holes are formed in the first area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
