PURPOSE: A solid catalyst for olefin polymerization capable of polymerizing polypropylene and a method for preparing the same are provided to polymerize polypropylene having excellent stereoregularity with a high yield by using a silane-based compound, an acycloalkane dicarboxylate-based or acycloalkene dicarboxylate-based internal electron donor, and a catalyst. ;CONSTITUTION: A solid catalyst for olefin polymerization capable of polymerizing polypropylene includes titanium, magnesium, halogen, bicycloalkene dicarboxylate-based internal electron donor represented by chemical formula (II) or (III), wherein R1 and R2 which are the same or different, C1-20 linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group, alkenyl group, arylalkyl group or alkylaryl group; R3, R4, R5 and R6 which are the same or different, hydrogen, C1-20 linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group, alkenyl group, aryl group, and arylalkyl group or alkylaryl group.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
