PURPOSE: A time correction and a synchronizer using an LORAN(Long Range Navigation) signal and the time correction and the synchronizing method using the same are provided to effectively compensate a diurnal effect by supposing the diurnal effect in the Loran signal as the amplitude and the phase in the Loran signal, correcting and synchronizing the diurnal effect. ;CONSTITUTION: A phase comparing part(40) measures the phase difference value between the source second pulse from a Loran receiver and the second pulse from a frequency control part . An average calculation unit for signal traveling(50) measures the average value of a Loran signal traveling from the date about time interval between the second pulse in the Loran receiver and the second in a frequency oscillator. The pattern generation and comparison compares the average traveling value with the amplitudes and phase of the supposed patterns of a diurnal effect existing in the Loran signal and generates a compensation signal for correcting the diurnal effect in the Loran signal. The control signal output unit(80) transmits the offset value calculated in the calculation unit for frequency offset to a frequency control unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
