PURPOSE: An ultrasound system and an ultrasound method are provided to rapidly and accurately measure the size of an interest object by extracting the interest object corresponding to a seed point from a three dimensional ultrasound image.;CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound data obtaining unit(120) obtains a plurality of ultrasound data about an object by transmitting an ultrasound signal to an object and receiving the ultrasound signal reflected from the object. A user input unit(110) receives the input information of a user. A processor(130) is connected to the ultrasound data obtaining unit and the user input unit and forms a two dimensional ultrasound image and a three dimensional ultrasound image by using the plurality of ultrasound data. The processor extracts the interest object of two dimensional ultrasound image from three dimensional ultrasound image, measures the size of the extracted interest object, and processes the color of the extracted interest object.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
