PURPOSE: A method for enhancing the number of melanocytes is provided to obtain more melanocytes by co-culture.;CONSTITUTION: A method for increasing melanocytes comprises a step of co-culturing melanocytes together with one selected from the group consisting of stem cells and keratinocytes.
