PURPOSE: A method for selectively applying PDCP function in mobile communication system is provided to selectively apply a PDCP(Packet Data Convergence Protocol) function and integrity protection by transmitting data through a wireless bearer.;CONSTITUTION: A configuration message is received from a network. The configuration message is transmitted to a wireless transmission and receiving unit. A data unit is transmitted through the specific radio bearer for performing operation of an integrity protection.
