PURPOSE: Displacement compensating device and method for calculating the ratio of floating ice are provided to prevent decrease in sailing speed and sailing stability of a ship due to variables, such as thrust of a ship and speed.;CONSTITUTION: A water tank(102) holds liquid having the same condition to seawater and a plurality of model floating ice(108) on the liquid. A support unit(104) is arranged to protect the water tank and supports the water tank. A plurality of displacement compensating units(110) are installed on the support unit and compensate displacement according to the movement of a measuring position.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
