PURPOSE: A producing method of red pepper paste using tomato and onion, and the red pepper paste are provided to offer useful components of the tomato and onion to eaters. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of red pepper paste using tomato and onion comprises the following: preparing the tomato and onion in a weight ratio of 100:30~50, and peeling the tomato and onion before crushing; mixing 100parts of crushed tomato and onion by weight with 80~120parts of sugar by weight, and fermenting the mixture; filtering the fermented mixture; heating the obtained tomato and onion mixed solution while adding fermented soybean powder, and inserting red pepper powder and salt to obtain a red pepper paste mixture; and aging the red pepper paste mixture.
