PURPOSE: An anti-drunk driving system and a method thereof are provided to prevent the drunk driving by measuring the drinking condition of the driver and controlling the starting of the car according to the measurement result.;CONSTITUTION: An anti-drunk driving system comprises a drinking condition measuring unit(200), a comparison unit(300), a control portion of the starting(400), and an output unit. The drinking condition measuring unit measures the alcohol concentration of the driver using the respiration of the driver. The comparison unit determines the drinking condition of the driver by comparing the measured alcohol concentration and standard alcohol concentration. The control portion of the starting controls the starting of the car based on the result which determines the drinking condition of the driver. The output unit calculates the detoxication speed and time and is provided to the driver if the alcohol concentration of the driver is over than the standard concentration. The detoxication time is the required time which the alcohol concentration of the driver arrives in the standard concentration based on the detoxication speed.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
