PURPOSE: A cylinder liner and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to enhance bonding strength between a cylinder block and a cylinder line in molding the cylinder block since a plurality of grooves are formed on the entire outer circumferential surface of the cylinder liner.;CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a cylinder liner(20) comprises next steps. Mold release is coated on the inner circumferential surface of a rotating mold and is dried for a given time. A groove forming material is put and adhered into/to the inner circumferential surface of the mold to form a hollow relief on the surface of the coated, dried mold release. Auxiliary mold release is coated to be able to cover the groove forming material. Molten metal is put into and cured the surface of the coated auxiliary mold release to form a frame for the cylinder liner. The cylinder liner frame is separated from the mold.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
