PURPOSE: A highly conductive metal/polymer composite is provided to be used for the housing of electrostatic discharge devices, electromagnetic interference shielding devices, and electronic products and to minimize manufacturing time and costs by processing precise parts through an injection molding method.;CONSTITUTION: A highly conductive metal/polymer composite comprises 40-60 weight% of copper, 1-20 weight% of zinc, 20-40 weight% of tin, 0.2-1 weight% of additive and 10-30 weight% of polymer. A method for preparing the highly conductive metal/polymer composite comprises the steps of: preparing copper, zinc, and tin powder; compounding the copper, zinc, and tin powder and a polymer using an extruder; and chip-processing the compounded composite using a pelletizer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
