PURPOSE: A method for removing residues on the surface of a float glass plate is provided to prevent damage to the surface of a float glass plate when residues are removed from the surface of the float glass plate.;CONSTITUTION: A method for removing residues on the surface of a float glass plate is as follows. A float glass plate(10) having first and second surfaces(12,14) is prepared. Ultrasonic waves, generated from multiple ultrasonic wave generators, are applied to the first and second surfaces of the float glass plate, and the first and second surfaces are treated for one to ten minutes using nitric acid having 30~50°C.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
