摘要

PURPOSE: A vehicle bumper beam and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to secure collision stability and to improve strength by integrating composite material and steel material.;CONSTITUTION: A vehicle bumper beam is arranged between a cover and a stay. The bumper is installed in the front and rear part of the vehicle. The bumper beam absorbs impacts during a vehicle collision and protects passengers. A steel material(120) is insert-molded into a resin mat(110) and the bumper is manufactured. The resin mat is filament fiber-reinforced composite material. The resin mat is a GMT(Glass fiber Mat Thermoplastic) or LFT(Long Fiber Thermoplastic).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
