PURPOSE: A remote user certification method and a system thereof are provided to connect a sub-device like a USB memory to a host computer in order to perform user certification.;CONSTITUTION: A host computer(11) is linked with a sub-device(12). A certification server(13) generates and saves a sub-device ID and host ID identifying the sub-device and host computer. The certification server transmits the host ID and sub-device ID to the host computer. The host ID and sub-device ID are arranged based on sub-device composition information of the sub-device and host composition information of the host computer transmitted from the host computer.
