PIPE CONNECTER USING PRIMARY AND SECONDARY FASTENING NUTS TO SECURE HIGH FASTENING FORCE AND STABILITY EASILY

PURPOSE: A pipe connecter is provided to ensure application to various types of pipes by employing a common fastening ring and a separation preventing unit proper for the type of a pipe.;CONSTITUTION: A pipe connecter(1) comprises a connection body(10), a packing unit(20), a pressing unit(30), a separation preventing unit(50), and primary and secondary fastening nuts(60,70). The connection body comprises a fluid passage(11) and a pipe receiving part(12) which is formed on an end of the fluid passage to receive an end of a pipe(5). The packing unit is installed in a packing mounting portion(13) which is formed on a side of the pipe receiving part. The pressing unit is mounted on one end of the connection body to press the packing unit. The separation preventing unit prevents the separation of a pipe. The primary fastening nut is thread-coupled to one end of the connection body to fix the pressing unit and the separation prevention unit to the connection body. The secondary fastening nut is thread-coupled to one end of the primary fastening nut to press the separation preventing unit to a pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
