PURPOSE: A system for correcting the position of automation equipment and a position correction method thereof are provided to precisely correct the displacement of a rotational angle on a plane and distortion of a work unit through data obtained from two or more landmarks.;CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for correcting the position of automation equipment comprises a sensing unit and a control unit. The sensing unit comprises a laser sensor(120) and an image sensor(110). The laser sensor is installed in a work unit and obtains the position data of the work unit. The control unit comprises a controller(150). The controller directs the position correction of the work unit by comparing laser data obtained from the laser sensor and image data obtained from the image sensor with reference data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
