PURPOSE: A nanocrystal/resin composition and a nanocrystal-resin composite are provided to stably maintain inherent characteristics of nano particles and to enable the use for light emitting materials and semiconductor materials.;CONSTITUTION: A nanocrystal/resin composition(10) comprises nanocrystals(16), a silicone resin(12) having a reactive functional group at the end thereof, and a compound selected from a silane group-containing compound, a silazane group-containing compound, and combinations thereof. A nanocrystal-resin composite comprises a silicone resin matrix, a plurality of nanocrystal clusters dispersed in the silicon resin matrix, and a buffer layer that surrounds the nanocrystal clusters.
