SMOOTHING DEVICE FOR PEAK WINDOWING CAPABLE OF REDUCING PEAK TO AVERAGE POWER RATIO FOR THE LINEARIZATION OF A POWER AMPLIFIER

PURPOSE: A smoothing device for peak windowing is provided to improve an error vector magnitude performance and to maintain a spectrum performance by applying the peak windowing which includes a multi feedback structure.;CONSTITUTION: An input signal consisting of data stream is inputted to a delay unit(1302) and an operator(1304). The delay unit delays the input signal. The operator creates a first input signal for smoothing using a clipping threshold level which is prescribed and the input signal for peak windowing. A subtracter subtracts a feedback signal in the first input signal. A smoothing unit(1306) executes a smoothing operation regarding of inputted signal. An inverse calculator(1310) multiplies the clipping threshold level in the reverse of an output signal from an adder(1308). A multiplier(1312) multiplies an output from the inverse calculator in the input signal delivered through the delay unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
