PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a light emitting device manufacturing method, a light emitting device package, and an illumination system are provided to alleviate a current focusing phenomenon in a shortest distance between an electrode and conductive support substrate, thereby improving the light emitting efficiency of the light emitting device.;CONSTITUTION: An adhesion layer(170) is arranged on a conductive support substrate(175). A reflecting layer(160) is arranged on the adhesion layer. An ohmic contact layer(150) is arranged on the reflecting layer. A protective layer(140) is arranged in a circumferential area of the upper surface of the adhesion layer. A light emitting structure layer(135) generating light is arranged on the ohmic contact layer and protective layer.
