PURPOSE: A robot cleaner, a remote monitoring system and a monitoring method using a robot cleaner are provided to simultaneously clean and remote monitor by installing the function of remote monitoring and location recognition.;CONSTITUTION: A robot cleaner comprises a monitoring camera(110), a location recognition camera(120), a communication server(140), a controlling unit(130), a multiplexer(150), a certificating unit(160), an obstacle detecting unit and a storing unit. The monitoring camera takes a photograph of circumstance and outputs a first video signal. The location recognition camera takes a photograph of circumstance and outputs a second video signal. The communication server transmits the first video signal in the external device and receives a control command from the external device. The controlling unit drives the robot cleaner based on the control command and self algorithm.
