PURPOSE: A robot cleaner, a remote monitoring system and a monitoring method using a robot cleaner are provided to simultaneously clean and remote monitor by installing the function of remote monitoring and location recognition.;CONSTITUTION: A robot cleaner comprises a monitoring camera(110), a location recognition camera(120), a communication server(140), a controlling unit(130), a multiplexer(150), a certificating unit(160), an obstacle detecting unit and a storing unit. The monitoring camera takes a photograph of circumstance and outputs a first video signal. The location recognition camera takes a photograph of circumstance and outputs a second video signal. The communication server transmits the first video signal in the external device and receives a control command from the external device. The controlling unit drives the robot cleaner based on the control command and self algorithm. The controlling unit recognizes the location of the robot cleaner based on the second video signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
