PURPOSE: A method for treating the excrements of livestock is provided to shorten a time required for operational processes and to save a cost required for installation and construction by omitting a facility for the use of microorganism. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating the excrements of livestock includes the following: The excrements of livestock are collected and introduced into an impurity disposing unit(2). Impurities contained in the excrements are eliminated by the impurity disposing unit, a centrifugal solid-liquid separator(4). Treated water is transferred from the centrifugal solid-liquid separator and to a first aerobic digesting and deaerating tower(A1) and is decomposed. The impurities further eliminated, and the treated water is further decomposed. The treated water is transferred into a precipitating bath, and sludge contained in the treated water is precipitated in the precipitating bath. The treated water is discharged from the precipitating bath.
