PURPOSE: An FRET-based nanosensor system and a detection method using the same are provided to simply and accurately detect a target nucleic acid.;CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting nucleic acid comprises: a step of preparing quantum dot; a step of connecting a probe containing oligonuelcotides of complementary sequences for a target nucleic acid onto the surface of the quantum dot to form a bioconjugated quantum dot-probe; and a step of hybridizing the target nucleic acid and bioconjugated quantum dot-probe under the presence of intercalating dye. The method further comprises a step of detecting fluorescence signal by FRET. The quantum dot has a CdSe(core)/ZnS(shell) structure. The surface of the quantum dot is capsulated or modified with hydroxy group(-OH), carboxyl group(-COOH), amine group(-NS_2), or thiol group(-SH).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
