PURPOSE: A mixture ratio control system for a gas generator and a control method thereof are provided to facilitate the change of the mixing ratio of oxidizer and fuel by controlling the flow rate of oxidizer and fuel. CONSTITUTION: A mixture ratio control system for a gas generator and a control method thereof comprises an oxidizer pump(OP), a fuel supply pump(FP), a turbine(T), an oxidizer pressure gauge(111), a fuel pressure indicator(121), an oxidizer throttle valve(113), a fuel throttle valve(123), and a controller. The oxidizer pump supplies oxidizer to a gas generator(GG) through an oxidizer supply pipe(110). The fuel supply pump supplies the fuel to a gas generator through a fuel supply pipe(120). The turbine drives the fuel supply pump and the oxidizer supply pump. The oxidizer pressure gauge measures the feed pressure of the oxidizer.
