PURPOSE: A lodging business reservation system using an online network and a method for operating the same are provided to process an online room reservation between a travel agency and a lodging business through the Internet or a network except for the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A travel agency terminal(10) inquires about a reservation of a lodging house(2). A lodging house terminal(20) provides data about lodging consulting. A relay server(31) relays data between the travel agency terminal and the lodging house terminal in a message type through a communication network. A web server(32) connects the travel agency terminal and the lodging house terminal through an online network. A data server stores the data.
