Method for Detecting Methylation of Gastric Cancer Specific Methylation Marker Gene for Gastric Cancer Diagnosis

PURPOSE: A method for detecting gastric cancer-specific methylated marker gene is provided to perform early diagnosis and diagnose the phase of gastric cancer. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting methylation is to detect promoter methylation of a gastric cancer-specific methylation marker gene, COL24A1(NM_152890, collagen type 24, alpha 1) or NTRK2(COL24A1(NM_152890) collagen type 24, alpha 1) to diagnose phase of gastric cancer. The method for detecting methylation comprises PCR(polymerase chain reaction), methylation-specific PCR, real time methylation specific PCR, PCR using methylation DNA-specific binding protein, pyrosequencing or bisulfite sequencing.
