PURPOSE: A rotational strainer of a vertical sump pump and a vertical sump pump having the same are provided to reduce the overloading of a motor and energy loss and prevent damage to impeller, thereby expanding service life of a pump.;CONSTITUTION: A rotational strainer of a vertical sump pump comprises a fixed strainer(20) and a rotary strainer(10). The fixed strainer is fixed to the casing of the bottom of a pump. The rotary strainer is installed inside the fixed strainer with being separated from the fixed strainer. The rotary strainer is connected to the impeller shaft of the pump. The rotary strainer rotates along the rotation of the impeller. Foreign materials, flowing in from the outside of the pump, are crushed between the fixed strainer and the rotary strainer by the rotation of the rotary strainer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
